Fuji just announced the X-E1, a new digital mirrorless camera due out in November.
The X-E1 is very similar to the popular X-Pro1. It's smaller, has a couple slightly improved features, and the electronic viewfinder was removed, but beyond that these two cameras are the same. Oh, and the X-E1, with an MSRP of $1,400, will cost you about $300 less.
This camera is for those who want Leica quality without the ridiculous Leica price tag. If you are debating between the X-Pro1 and the X-E1, it's my opinion that electronic viewfinders are overrated, so go with the X-E1.
