Abandonment: Three Homes - Mojave, California

Continuing my Abandonment series, I photographed a property in Mojave, California with three abandoned homes on it. There's also a shed or workshop on the property.

One of the houses appeared to be the main house. It's a little larger, nicer and newer than the other two. Another house appeared to be a one bedroom, one car garage place. The third house may have originally been a shed or workshop that was later converted into a house. It's a two room shack, more-or-less.

The property is abandoned, but whoever left it locked it up. There are padlocks on all of the doors. Most of the windows are boarded up, too. Someone took care to make sure no one got in. However, the smaller house (the "third house" as I called it above) had been broken into and vandalized.

I captured these images using a Sigma DP2 Merrill camera.
