Most of the article is spot-on for me. It describes me pretty well. Of the 18 things mentioned, only four don't really apply. And two of those four I can say, at least to a small degree, that they somewhat apply.
If it describes how creative people act different than others, and I'm a creative person, why would I care about an article that describes how I already am? How is that helpful?
Well, first, it is good to think a little deeper about why you do the things you do. By understanding yourself better, you gain further control of the creative process. Second, you realize that you need not apologize for being different. If someone has a problem with your methods, maybe the problem is them and not you. Third, you can make choices that better fit who you are, even if those choices go against the grain of what most others are doing.
