|Down Below - Stallion Springs, California|
Not far from where I live in Stallion Springs, down a nondescript dead-end street, there is an unmarked trail that leads to a single bench. From that bench one gets an amazing view of the southern end of California's central valley, which sits roughly 4,000' below.
I captured the three photographs you see here a few evenings ago using a Sigma DP2 Merrill camera. I post-processed the images using Alien Skin Exposure 6. The top photograph was made to look like Ilford Delta 3200, the image directly below was made to look like Fuji Velvia 50, and the bottom photograph was made to look like Kodak Ektachrome E100VS.
