Photoessay: Salt Lake City Public Library Downtown Branch, Part 2: Color

Urban Bicyclist - Salt Lake City, Utah

The reason that I separated this into two parts is because 1) there were too many images for it to be just one post and 2) it's visually more pleasing for black-and-white and color photographs to be displayed separately. It just made more sense to me to share these pictures with you in this fashion.

From the time that I arrived at the library to the time that I left was about an hour and fifteen minutes. This was midday and at a time when a lot of photographers would put their cameras away due to the harsh lighting. I think, all things considered, I had a large haul of good images. Good locations can go a long ways towards the making of good images. Photographic vision plus being at the right place at the right time is what's required for great photography.
